1. A unit of information equal to one million million (1012) or, strictly, 240 bytes.
In 2011, and through their love of drum and bass, two school friends in Sam Gartside and James Austin came together to create a record label, aimed at disrupting the monopoly on the genre between a handful of labels. The concept grew, and in May 2012 the label became a limited company. That label is Terabyte Records.
Several years down the line, the label is home to artists from across the world, each with a unique sound and take on the beloved genre. The label's habit for breaking new talent is unbreakable; its music can be heard in clubs far and wide, its presence can be seen in music publications worldwide, and its passion and commitment to the music is unwavering.
